LISTING COMPLIANCE
Metallurgical coal producer Walter Energy could lose its NYSE-listing after the exchange notified the ailing company that its common stock did not currently satisfy one of the exchange's continued listing standards. The NYSE required the average closing price a share of a listed company's common stock to be at least $1 over a consecutive 30-day trading period. As of Tuesday, the average closing price a share of the company's common stock over the preceding 30-day trading period was $0.99.
