MINERAL SANDS
The Western Australian Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) has approved the Thunderbird mineral sands project, which ASX-listed Sheffield Resources is developing, subject to a number of conditions.
Under the recommended conditions, Sheffield will be required to undertake progressive mine rehabilitation to restore habitat suitable for the Greater Bilby.
