The Steel and Engineering Industries Federation of Southern Africa (Seifsa) has appointed Dr Michael Ade chief economist and Marique-Mari Kruger economist with effect from July 17 and August 1, respectively. Ade will join Seifsa from the South African Revenue Service where he is capacity director for programmes and research, while Kruger has worked as an economist for Absa, Statistics South Africa and the University of Johannesburg.
