Project developer Romarco Minerals on Monday said, following the posting of the final environmental-impact statement for the Haile gold project, in South Carolina, on the US Army Corps of Engineers website on Thursday, that the Corps had informed the company that it would issue its record of decision (ROD) on its 404 wetlands permit application in November.
The 404 permit is the only federal environmental permit required for the Haile gold mine.
