Profit-pumping Randgold sets sights on three new projects

Gold mining company Randgold Resources, which reported 58% higher profits in the three months to the end of September than in the same period last year, has set its sights on developing three new gold projects in the next five years. The company, headed by CEO Dr Mark Bristow, reported profit of $77.3-million, up 32% on the previous quarter, and 35%-higher quarter-on-quarter earnings a share, which were 56% up on the corresponding quarter of 2015.
