FINANCIAL RESULTS
JSE-listed Omnia on Tuesday posted double-digit growth in earnings for the first half of the 2018 financial year as the agriculture segment normalised after harsh drought conditions ended and the mining segment started to show signs of improvement. Profit after tax increased by 27% to R285-million for the six months ended September 30, while headline earnings a share increased by 31% to 420c.
