Olympic Dam still on care and maintenanceBy:Creamer Media Senior Deputy Editor: Australasia DIVERSIFIED MINER Operations at the Olympic Dam copper/gold/uranium mine, in South Australia, remained suspended on Tuesday, following last week’s storm, which hit the state’s power supply. BHP reported that the mine had started receiving some power from the grid, after electricity was restored to the Roxby Downs township on Friday evening.
