Mining resumes at Blanket mine following fatality

Mining activities at a section of TSX- and Aim-listed Caledonia Mining’s Blanket mine, in Zimbabwe, resumed on Monday morning. All activities at the Eroica orebody, which contributed 10% of production in the first quarter, had been halted at the weekend, pending a full risk assessment and on site investigation into a fatal accident that occurred on May 12.
