VANADIUM
The Mapochs mine, which is in provisional liquidation with its mining right intact, is going under the hammer next Thursday, when it will be sold to the highest bidder. The mine, which supplied ore for the production of both steel and vanadium before Evraz Highveld Steel and Vanadium went into business rescue, is scheduled to be auctioned on September 14.
