M&R, EGMF set up DRC company at Mining Indaba

Underground mining services company Murray & Roberts (M&R) Cementation, together with Enterprise Generale Malta Forrest SA (EGMF), used the Mining Indaba as a setting to establish a new joint company in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to serve the mining industry in Central Africa. Johannesburg-based M&R Cementation, with a range of capabilities covering the full spectrum of the underground mining value chain, has teamed up with Lubumbashi-based EGMF, a 94-year-old DRC company, which has been largely involved with civil construction, road building and more recently with surface mining.
