Icasa CEO placed on ‘precautionary suspension’By:MANAGEMENT CHANGES The Council of the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa) on Thursday said CEO Pakamile Pongwana has been placed on precautionary suspension pending an undisclosed internal disciplinary process. Icasa COO Willington Ngwepe will take over the position’s responsibilities until the internal processes have been concluded.
