Ford Motor Co will more than double the amount of parts it buys in from North African-based suppliers for its newly expanded vehicle assembly plant in Spain and elsewhere, a company official said on Tuesday. Ford announced in February the final phase of a 2.3-billion-euro ($2.5-billion) expansion of its operations in Valencia, in what it said was the biggest investment ever to be made in Spain's auto industry.
