GOLD WAGE NEGOTIATIONS
Evander Gold Mines, a subsidiary of JSE-listed Pan African Resources, has reached a three-year wage deal with the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) and Uasa. Under the terms of the agreement, category 4 to 8 employees and B-lower officials would receive an increase in wages of R700 a month in years one, two and three, as well as a R100 a month increase in the living-out allowance in year one.
