Magnet has added another energy-saving lighting installation to its repertoire, with the completion of an installation for the new Boxer Superstores distribution centre (DC) in East London, the company indicated in a statement in October. “Following the success of Magnet’s lighting installation for Boxer Superstores in over 80 stores nationwide since 2015, the Magnet team was awarded the contract to design and supply an energy efficient lighting system for the new 16 000 mᶟ Boxer distribution centre in East London,” explains Magnet lighting solutions engineer and MARS product specialist Kaylen Reddy. “Magnet’s locally-manufactured MARS LED lighting system, that ensures maximum energy savings, without compromising on lux levels, was selected for this project.
