Embraco enters local markets with strong R&D background

Brazil-headquartered hermetic compressors and refrigeration solutions multinational Embraco will leverage its research and development (R&D) competitive advantage to gain market share in Africa, says Embraco business and marketing VP Marcio Schissatti. The company invests 3% to 4% of its net revenue a year into R&D to transform technology into innovation. Its focus is on energy management, refrigeration and food preservation, he says.
