Detour’s 2019 production guidance builds on 2018’s momentum

Canadian intermediate gold miner Detour Gold expects to produce between 570 000 oz and 605 000 oz of gold in 2019, the company announced on Tuesday, stating that the guidance was in line with the Detour Lake operation’s life of mine (LoM) plan released in June last year. Newly appointed interim CEO Bill Williams said in a statement that the company continued to build on the momentum of the operational initiatives that COO Frazer Bourchier had put in place last year.
