Codelco chairperson says cautious about short-term copper price

The chairperson of Chilean state-owned copper company Codelco said on Tuesday that he is cautious about a recent rally in copper prices, even as he is more optimistic in the medium- and long-term. "I'm a little skeptical...in the short-term," Oscar Landerretche said a mining conference in Chilean capital Santiago. "It's true that all of the fundamentals are good in the medium- and long-term...but I would be very cautious."
