Blackham starts mining at Matilda in WA

Miner Blackham Resources has started openpit mining and underground development work at its 5.1-million-ounce Matilda project, with gold production from the Western Australia-based mine expected in three weeks. The company reported on Monday that contractor Maca had mobilised the initial mining fleet and that it had started mining operations at the Matilda M10 and M4 openpits.
