Australia urgently needs more gas supply and more gas suppliers to head off a supply shortfall forecast for 2019, the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (Appea) has said. CEO Dr Malcolm Roberts said on Tuesday that a new report by the Australian Industry Group (Ai Group) has shown that customers will pay a heavy price for government bans on developing new gas supply.
